I've been a member of SF for about 2 months now. I've been very impressed with others who are willing to share thier ideas (filters) in the forums. I have been actively trading for about 5 months now and have made my share of mistakes. Hopefully ones that I've learned from!
My question concerns Combining Filters.
I know the watch lists will show the filter matches.
Is there way to have a watch list (auto fill) from a Primary filter and then list other filter matches?
Or when when I get the results from running a filter I can get an indicator to show other filters the individual stock also matches?
Or could this idea be addresed using the LOGIC filter If, Then, Or to distingish between other filters to indicate direction of movement?
I might be asking too much.
Any Help is greatly Appreciated.

JRS

JRS,

If you are just interested in which symbols make it through a series of filters you can explore "filter chaining".

If you are interested in more of an "OR" operation then yes you will have to explore filter logic as you mentioned.

WOW
Thankyou for the quick reply.
I'll look into Chaining Filters.
From what I have seen, the chain would be an independent filter for each chain you set up. Is this correct?
