Has anyone added the MACD for confirmation on this filter?
Let me know what you think.

I started using this at the beginning of the year, there is a MACD confirmation included in it. The filter is kinda tight, but is 100% for the year with a +300% ROI. I buy big "lots" of stock so this filter is perfect for me.

For back testing I use a 3% stop loss and 4% profit stop.

Fetcher[show stocks where close is between 15 and 60
and average volume(90) > 1000000
and open < ema(21)
and open < ema(8)
and open < ema(4)
and close > ema(21)
and close > ema(4)
and close > ema(8)
and close > open
and close 3 days ago < ema(21)
and close 5 days ago < close 3 days ago
and close 5 days ago < ema(90)
and add column atr(10)
and sort on column 5 ascending
and add column Beta {Beta}
add column macd
market is not etf
volume above volume 1 day ago
draw resistance(45,15,2)
draw resistance(65,10)
draw support(65,10,1)
draw support(45,15,2)
and beta above 1
and MACD Fast Line(12,26,9) is above the MACD Slow Line(12,26,9)

Thanks very much.
I'm also using the PSAR for confirmation.
Using that with MACD helps with entries.

Have you tried backtesting your filter

going back a few years?Obviously 2008 should be expected to be difficult but years beyond that are nothing like recent years. I'm using your 3% & 4% suggestions. One thing I did different was to limit entries to 2 a day and maximum positions to 10 because I feel that represents what I think most traders would do.
