I do not have much knowledge of programing. Any one interested in programing this? Or guide me to right direction. The methodology is explained here.

I only breifly scanned the article but I think this should be close to what was described.

BTW, I think you will tend to get more help on this forum if you put some effort into trying to build it yourself and posting what you have.

Fetcher[
high 1 day ago below high 2 days ago
and low 1 day ago above low 2 days ago
and high above high 1 day ago
and date offset 30
and price above 1
and volume above 100000
]

and this seems to add an interesting twist

Fetcher[

high 1 day ago below high 2 days ago
and low 1 day ago above low 2 days ago
and low above high 1 day ago
and date offset 30
and price above 1
and volume above 100000

]

I believe this is a better indecision filter than what was described on the web site you posted.

Fetcher[

max(close,open) 1 day ago below max(close,open) 2 days ago
and min(close,open) 1 day ago above min(close,open) 2 days ago
and high above high 1 day ago
and date offset 30
and price above 1
and volume above 100000

]

my $.02

forgot to mention that if you add "and aopcl 1 day ago is below aopcl for 4 days 2 day ago" to each filter it will fulfill the NR4 criterea.

One more variation for fun:

Fetcher[

max(close,open) 1 day ago below max(close,open) 2 days ago
and min(close,open) 1 day ago above min(close,open) 2 days ago
and min(open,close) above high 1 day ago
and day range 1 day ago is below day range for 4 days 2 day ago
and date offset 30
and price above 1
and volume above 100000

I saw this on a jeff Cooper site. I think the filters above would be for 2 inside days. i was fooling around and trying to figure out how to set up 3 consecutive inside days and found this forum. I think I was on the right track.

anyone out there care to comment?

Shark Scan:
The focus of the shark scan is a break of the top of the shark formation.
A shark formation is a set of 3 consecutive inside days.
IOW. day one high and low > and < day two high and low and
day two high and low > and < day three. sort of a small symetrical triangle.
The buy signals are produced when the stock closes higher than day one on the formation.
The sell signal is produced when the stock closes lower than day one.

This is what I came up with:

Show stocks where day point range reached a 5 day low
and high is below high 1 day ago
and high 1 day ago is below high 2 day ago
and high 2 day ago is below high 3 day ago
and low is above low 1 day ago
and low 1 day ago is above low 2 day ago
and low 2 day ago is above low 3 day ago
and close is above $30.00
and average volume(30) is above 250,000 shares
