lots of people talk about using volume and MAs to predict price movement for intraday but it seems that the opposite happens just as much as the predicted movement.
is it just me?

It's not !
Of ALL the things I look at...NOTHING has LESS importance placed on it than...VOLUME !
All in my opinion of course !

its just that i have seen many examples where price bounces off volume, but i can show many examples where it does not
i can seen many examples where volume reinforces a breakout and sustains it, but i can show many examples where it does not.
just trying to gauge what others are thinking.
