ajelabi1,

I recommend "e-harmony.com" or Mindy @ (514) 723-9145 for your primary problem.

As to your need for bullish filters on high volume, don't disturb the resident bear as he is gaining supporters as we speak.

Do a search on "13thfloor", "jrbikes", "muddy" for high speed, fast money momentum plays or better yet just open a third floor window and thow your money out. That will be less frustrating than trying to compete against these guys without years of experience because that is what you will be doing.

The best advice you may find on this forum has been given already, many times, elsewhere. It is to choose 1 stock say AAPL and forget that it is $180 (buy 10 shares or 1000) it doesnt matter.. Choose 1 or two indicators say the ma(50)/ma(20) combo and slow stochs(7,3). Study the AAPL chart and indicators over the last two years. See the buying opportunities on pullbacks? Go to realmoney.com or investor.com and thouroghly study the stock. (To contrast, do the same for Home Depot(HD)and its chart. Note the differences between the two.) See if you can find what makes this stock and others move(news, earnings...). Make sure to see the correlation of the overall market to the movement of AAPL.

Take your time. Hold on to your money. DO NOT LOSE IT. Learn to invest/trade over your entire lifetime and you will enjoy it. Good luck.

Rationale for DO NOT LOSE IT!.

Scenario 1: Say your'e 25 years old. Take a flier on a trading scam, lose $2000 and be done with it.

Scenario 2: Say your'e 25 yeas old. Take the $2000 and put it in an IRA.
Acquire the trading skills over 15 years to be able to consistently get an anual return of 20%(no matter what anyone says youre at the top of the trading game if you can do this).. Start trading this $2000 at age 40 and when your 65 through the magic of compouding you have about $250k
(it will double every 3.6 years)

Every 1k matters!
