An article on MSN ( describes a formula that picks stocks that have historically (1951-1994) returned an average of 18%.

It describes the formula and also has a link to MSN's financial screener with the variables set. At the end it also links to a slightly modified screen that might provide even better results.



Has anybody tried this using StockFetcher?

No, that investing strategy uses a low stock price/sales ratio, and I don't think that stock fetcher gets into fundamental company data.
