This provides numerous buy candidates.
" show stocks trading near the bottom of a 120 day increasing channel "

Naturally one should evaluate these with whatever technical and fundamental indicators you use. I do my technical first then fundamentals on the ones that pass. I use a close of day stop loss of 4% and let the winners run awhile. Have not used it long but early results are very good. Now I'm going to set up several others changing the time frames to 60 day and 30 day maybe even a 5 day to catch small pullbacks. I'm also going to try a sideways channel hoping to catch them before the major move but am not sure if I can write that screen. Theory is of course to get on board a proven uptrend after a pullback. Backtesting this filter gave me good results that's why I chose it. Any comments on improving appreciated.
