M4M:
I read the GLD Yahoo thread all the time.
I missed your post.
I've been eyeing GRS, but my indicators showed Gold overbought.

Kevin:
Look @ GLD, SLV and GRS now.
This "dip" this morning was just that ... a buying opportunity.
I believe there are HUGE opportunities in gold n' silver right now.
Especially silver, which is still very cheap.

Great minds think alike. I got in on UGL, AGQ, MOO, GDX, and DBA this morning - not at the lows, but I'm still up about 1.6% right now.

We should see a short covering rally on the dollar between now and the 14th Dec. this will impact gold prices.

These are opportunistic trades, although I think that the dollar will remain in a downtrend through the end of this year - too much riding on the economic recovery for the Government to let it tank during Christmas.

The Dubai thing is temporary, but it created a great opportunity to get in to commodities cheaply. People bought dollars on a panic yesterday, but that does not change the overall trend for the dollar, which is DOWN. Look at the CRB index chart to see where things are heading.

If the dollar rallies, I'll add to these positions.

I'm HOPING the USD$$ rallies.
I'd love to get some mining stocks cheap.
