First of all, and call me ignorant... but what is pop to the top? Secondly, I have tried most of the filters here and I get confused when I see the same filter appearing over and over and over on the same thread. Why do some post their same filter repeatedly?

"Pop to the Top" is when your purpose of posting is to get the thread to "pop to the top" of the list so the chance of new people seeing it increases.
Posting the same filter in the same thread is done so you don't have to keep going back to the original post. Sometimes the filter may look the same but it may have one or more changes.
