Those cute lil things are fun to drive in retirement communities down in Florida. But in the severe cold weather states where the snow piles up 12 inches or more that lil thing just shuts down. Plus you have to factor in the safety record of those lil things when it comes to human injuries when a large truck hits it anywheres. Might as well drive a motorcycle and save more gas if thats your intention.

Just another foreign maker drooling to get your American dollars you hand to them. Their country benefits, ours doesn't. But then again, why worry about this. With all the abuses that are being discovered by our own leaders in business why should we care about giving our money to a foreign country. Our own American leaders are throwing our money away to corrupt institutions and their leaders via the TARP money. Just look at what the news media had to say about how Merrill Lynch's leaders gave billions of dollars out for their own executives bonuses. It goes on and on. And here we are so worried that our American auto companies will get any money to help them and to save jobs.

Blame our politicians for not catching this problem earlier. Oh they knew the problem existed, they just sat on their fat butts and collected residual checks The politicians as you know have an iron clad benefit account that only they can revise and adjust. They get lifetime benefits for them and their family. Yet, when it comes to you or I and our families well gosh we are on our own. Politicians will represent you up to a point. When their jobs are at stake then and only then, they will do something. Haven't you noticed all the posturing these clowns have done in front of the tv camera. Most times you don't hear from them until a tv camera gets puhed into their faces then they immediately go into their "your on the air" attitude.

Buy pure American products and save a job. Peace my fellow StockFetchers.

The Opel Insignia won the Euro best auto for 09 edging out the venerable Ford Fiesta. The trick is to develop a small car with the ride and stability qualities and smoothness of a larger car including the power under the hood.I think the Europeans are achieving that and it looks like a good group of cars.I could envision a race between the Fiat 500,Ford Fiesta ,and Chevy Aveo, perhaps around the White House, with the winner receiving $40,000,000,000 bailout moneys to cover(for a few months) their parent companies debt, wage, and legacy obligations.Call it 'Revenue Race 09'.The best seats are at the beer stand where the po Republican party is sitting.

Let's focus on reviving OUR American products first before we sell European products to our countrymen. Patience is what everyone needs before this economic engine can get back its timing and rhythm again. Legacy costs are and will be evaporating each and every year now. As the masses of retirees die off the burden of paying out those legacy costs get significantly less. Asking an elephant to lose weight in too short a time space is impossible. Putting a gun to its head is tutile. Time is the key. You provide it and you will get great results.
