Both of you thank you very much. I know there is some argument over which indicator is better but both of them used together are just deadly. Thanks to RSI(2) and DMA(28,-14) i made 5900 yesterday on GW!! RSI(2) + DMA(28,-14) = $$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$

No indicator is "better" than another...

It's how you trade it that matters.

I guess Riggy and I should be expecting our "cut" in the mail...LOL!!

AS214, you do realize that the magical DMA(28,-14) is simply a 14 period MA don't you? It has no forecasting value since it is a backward plot. You'd have to go 14 days into the future to get a value that you would plot on today's date. Following is confirmation from Tom B. from SF support where he says..."Notice that the DMA(28,-14) is the same as theMA(14) on the final date of the chart. Additionally, the DMA(28,-14) 8 days ago is the same as a MA(22)." I am happy that you are making money with what is essentially a 14 period MA...but don't delude yourself into thinking you've got some type of crystal ball.

as214, "Thanks to RSI(2) and DMA(28,-14)."

Would you be so kind to give us your exact scripting? Thank you.

as214 -

I'm glad you see what many of us see! I'm just glad I can contribute here. As fas as "MAXRETURNS" comment to you, don't worry. I already proved to him and others, that DMA is NOT just a 14-Day MA. Once again, this is just one example of thousands....Take a look at (DNA-Genentech)on a 3 month chart from 10/13/05 to 10/31/05. Do you see how DMA is above price? Now take a look at a simple MA(14). Do you see where IT is? Look at the "slope" of DMA between 10/13 & 10/24. Now look at the slope of MA(14). Do you still think DMA is nothing more than a simple moving average?

I have made my employer tens of THOUSANDS in the past 3 weeks with this system alone! It "IS" the crytal ball I say it is, and people can continue to say it's not, but they always just disappear when I give simple illustrations like this. No one has been able to dispute actual FACTS! Remember, opinions are like A-HOLES, everybody has one, but no matter a PIE-HOLE or an A-HOLE, facts will ALWAYS prevail!

DMA IS THE ONLY WAY!

There really isn't an actual "exit strategy" with DMA, because I'm a short term investor. I'm out within 3 or 4 days. So T/A kicks into high gear after day 2 & 3. Now for the LONG term investor, I would recommend an EMA(13)crossover of DMA for an exit along with THERUMPLEDONE'S RSI(2)above 99. Couple those two, and you will always KEEP profits. Also, don't forget Avery's 60-day Linear Regression(60). If price is near that "Top" line and RSI(2)is above 99, and EMA(13)has crossed DMA, prices will always start to slide. Also watch your Bollinger Bands(10,1.8)closely. Take care dkatz!

Thanks Riggs! One more question? Do you play with anything under $2 or are they just too unpredicatable? --d

I see AS212 didn't answer the one guys question on what his script was for his successful filter he used to make that amount of money. Secrets still exist in our filter exchange forum apparently.

I'm new here. What charts are you guys using to see DMA? I like stockcharts.com the best, but I can't find an option for DMA.
