Using the "set" command in SF, can you divide one variable by another variable?

Yes.

Example
Fetcher[
symlist(spy,iwm)
set{variable1, ind(spy, close)}
set{variable2, ind(iwm, close)}
set{ratio, variable1 / variable2}
add column variable1
add column variable2
add column ratio
]
