Gann Masters Trading Course:

http://** removed by stockfetcher **

Description
____________
Over the years, many successful traders have become versed in the techniques of W.D. Gann, who wrote several important books on trading as well as a commodity trading course and a stock market trading course by the time he died in 1955. Due to the overwhelming interest in the W.D. Gann trading techniques, the Gann Masters Trading Course was created to help traders become successful. The course was created in an easy-to-understand format designed for the average person. The course materials also include dozens of charts and illustrations which were not included in the original courses given by Gann.

An Excel template was also developed to help the students with master table and circle charts. It includes electronic versions of all the master charts including the square of 4 and 9. It is possible to extend these master charts out to infinity with the Excel template. While its recommended that you use the Microsoft Excel software to run the program, it is not necessary. Students can download an Excel viewer from the Microsoft internet site (http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/details.aspx?FamilyID=c8378bf4-996c-4569-b547-75edbd03aaf0&displaylang=EN).

Niko,

Thanks for posting so many great books. I d/l the two Gann books today and will read them thoroughly. I notice that a disk with the Excel spreadsheets was included with the original, might you know where I might find those spreadsheets?

Thanks again...
Tom

Tom,

If ure referring to the "Gann Masters Trading Course", it's not bundled with any CD. According to the description given on the Traders World website, however, there's a so-called "secret internet site" developed just for students of this course, from which an updated Excel template may be downloaded. I would think the link is provided in the book.

The Triple Waterfall book is outstanding. I think it gives tools for wrestling the forces that if left to unchecked have the ability to limit market activity and quality of life.

If you happened to be an unstinting acolyte of Fibonacci applications, regarless of whether ure just a dilettante or an overripe afficionado, the following books may further aid in ure understanding of the subject.

A.J. Frost & Robert R. Prechter, "Elliott Wave Principle: Key to Market Behavior"

Download link: http://** removed by stockfetcher **
___________________

Until a few years ago, the idea that market movements are patterned was highly controversial, but recent scientific discoveries have established that pattern formation is a fundamental characteristic of complex systems, which include financial markets. Some such systems undergo "punctuated growth," that is, periods of growth alternating with phases of non-growth or decline, building fractally into similar patterns of increasing size. This is precisely the type of pattern identified in market movements by R.N. Elliott some sixty years ago.

The Wave Principle is Ralph Nelson Elliott's discovery that social, or crowd, behavior trends and reverses in recognizable patterns. Using stock market data as his main research tool, Elliott isolated thirteen patterns of movement, or "waves," that recur in market price data. He named, defined and illustrated those patterns. He then described how these structures link together to form larger versions of those same patterns, how those in turn link to form identical patterns of the next larger size, and so on. In a nutshell, then, the Wave Principle is a catalog of price patterns and an explanation of where these forms are likely to occur in the overall path of market
development.

Robert Prechter's Eliott Wave Theorist Newsletters (Back Issues from 2000-02):

(Note: I rarely, if ever, touch newsletters. But I was interested in what Prechter, the major advocate of the Elliott wave principle, had to say in times of a major market meltdown, circa 2000-02.)

Nicko,

Thanks once more.

The 'Fibonacci Ratios With Pattern Recognition' was ultimate. It was way too much to digest but very interesting while browsing the pages.

I wish Stockfetcher comes up with the Gartley and other advance patterns. There will be better business for Stockfetcher if they include these complex patterns.

itrademan,

Thx for the comment. It would be sweet indeed if Gartley and other patterns like the Wolfe Wave can be implemented here at StockFetcher.
