It seems that I've made some unwarranted accusations. Call it a slip of tongue. In any case, you have my apologies. As far as being a cynic, I do not think a little dose of opposing views will hurt. Be that as it may, it's not so much that I'm against a numerous filters that are flown everywhere, but the outrageous claims (whether implied or explicit) that their filters are the next holy grail without any evidence to support that claim. How is this any different from hyping some mediocre companies without prospect?

Shel,

It dosen't make sense to set tight stops on stocks with RSI(2)
under 1 . Witness WGAT today closing up .29 after bottoming @ 2.02
With a 2% stop , you would have been stopped out. This is one of
numerous examples.

I think the above thread is good reading for those new to stockfetcher, or, more importantly new to trading. Some experienced traders caution on extremely high ROI's.

Why is it that when I load specific stockfetcher forum address links into my browser (and then rightclick), the stockfetcher home page pops up, rather than the requested forum address?

There is probably nothing wrong with your browser. The above URL is incomplete though. This is probably the one that Tucker had in mind. I also think this is great reading for beginners and lovers of "unbelievable ROIs".

Oops,
for some strange reason the above URL I gave, may not work either.

Do a search for "ROI=1489.8 %" (without the quotatins marks) and you will get to the thread.

Thanks Koronbock. See my recent bug report to explain the 'missing link'.

Cheers!
