You need to upload them first to a site like Photobucket (www.photobucket.com) or tinypic (www.tinypic.com). From there, you can link them into a message on these boards.

Kevin

If you have this coded in a filter, you could also post that so that we can play with it on favorite stocks / indices.

I think the bit that most people don't get is that you have to upload it to a different site first. THEN you can link to it.

The 3rd post by nikoschopen in this thread explains how to post images or graph images.
http://forums.stockfetcher.com/sfforums/?q=view&fid=1001&tid=53335&qrid=

but here it is again in simple steps.

1) go to http://imageshack.us/ and on the right side of web page there is a upload button, use that to upload your image.

2) imageshack will give you a url of your image that you just uploaded.

3) you can just paste the url on stockfetcher without html coding it and people can copy paste the url and still view it.

4) if you want it seen on stockfetcher, follow nikoschopen's step # 3 to html code it and have it seen directly on stockfetcher.

again thanks to nikoschopen.

... a detailed basic example...

Make a Screen Capture of your Chart using a program like,
Snagit http://www.techsmith.com/download/snagittrial.asp
Annotate the chart.
Save it to your Desktop.

Then upload this image via a site like ImageShack
Example, using ImageShack: http://imageshack.us/

Select Browse on the right side to find/select your saved image.
Click 'Start-Upload'.
When done, a Direct Link to Image and Short Link to Image will appear.

"Copy" 1 link, either link will do, and then post this link in SF forum with your text message.

Fetcher[http://img196.imageshack.us/img196/2535/testimage.png]

note, in the link there must be No Spaces Anywhere, between Fetcher and both the brackets

(note: This same link can also be used to send chart via email.)

+++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++

Not exactly - you do not use Fetcher. Use [ img ] ... [ /img ] without the spaces to put the image directly into your post. If you use fetcher like that, it just thinks it is a filter.

Simply post the image-link as below,

http://img196.imageshack.us/img196/2535/testimage.png

for it to be copied and pasted into your Browser to view the chart.
