Nice job....sidelines for me though. Well, maybe hitting CVX for a little intra-day.

Good time to read and watch I guess. By the way, thanks for the e-books downloads on the other thread...made my day.

I made a concerted effort to sit tight throughout the violent market swings yesterday, but when the market rallies in a uniform manner like today I compromise myself to an unsynchronized frenzy of scalping that often forces me to exit prematurely. Go figure.

luc1grunt,

I'm glad that you find those uploads useful. I will likely add more on a daily basis so check out that thread often for any updates. If you need to see the uploads in its entirety, a complete list is maintained at http://** removed by stockfetcher **

Thank you for your generosity. Still doing my research on the e-mini, but inundated with my "real" job. Can't read enough. Thanks again, Luc

As I write, the Spooz has given back nearly all of yesterdays gain. It's also worth noting that the ES bounced off its month-long downward trendline. If it were to close in the red and continue to bleed yet some more tomorrow then you can bet this downward spiral is far from over.

From a day trading perspective, the lower Keltner again pierced below the lower BB in the 5-min chart, hence I'm led to believe that the ES is either basing or reversing its downtrend.

The next major hurdle lies at 1255.50

Since the upper Keltner channel is in synch with the upper BB, we have a good chance of penetrating above the threshold of 1255.50. However, if it were to get thrashed below 1253, it's time to bring the bears back in action.

It seems like we have finally turned the corner. For those who haven't already entered long it would be wise for you to make a brief visit to the "Woulda, Shoulda, Coulda!" thread. But we're officially entering into the lunch-hour doldrum where manipulation has its place and is not unknown for violating all norms of fragile sanity.
