Once the Dow Jones Industrials dips into the 8,000's begin your cherry picking. You know eventually this is going to bottom out and we are getting pretty darn close. With all the money going into our banks, and our government buying up bad loans, plus world banks getting new monies, and with the new global rate cut our market is getting ready to turn itself around. 3 years from now you will look back on these days as one of the greatest stock picking times of our lives. Let's make some money.

We will see a "Hair on Fire" rally...before we see (IF WE SEE) ... "DOW 8000s" !!! imo

So...you best be looking for selective LONG positions...in the interim !!!

I'm LONG here ! fwiw

Ummm...It's a good idea to frequently check the longer term charts. Draw your own conclusions. Last time a yearly low was broken we were down for another 1.5 years all the way down to the sub 800 level:

max...I'm not calling a "bottom" !!!

I'm not so stupid as to ignore the "long term chart(s)" !!!

I have been very vocal here at SF on other threads about my "Bear Market" views !!!

Just saying...that...right here...right now...there is more risk in being SHORT...than there is in being LONG !!! imo

So...as I said...there will likely be a "hair on fire" rally...in the very near future !!!

I have positioned myself LONG ... based on that assumption !!!

So far...I'm a day or two early...but...nevertheless...I AM LONG HERE !!!

Regards,

alf44

I can't figure out whether to pick my bottom or get ready to douse my hair...either way, sounds like a smelly proposition.
