Due to a recent ruling by the SEC, insider trades are now reported within 24 hours.

http://www.sec.gov/rules/final/33-7881.htm

The only place I have been able to get this information is thru a $175.00 membership site, however, since this is SF, I will not do any advertising for another "pay site" on this forum. I have since joined and have access to this information.

I am now posting "Insider Trades" FREE exclusively at my site;

Recent Insider Trades $.001 - $1.50 and Recent Insider Trades $1.50 - $15.00.

TxTrapper,

Is very nice of you to post the information on your web site! But, if it's from the pay service, I doubt it's legal. I'm no lawyer, so I could well be wrong. But from what I've seen with pay data, there's usually a Terms Of Service agreement that prohibits redistribution of the data. Since you've signed up, you have (at least implicitly, and maybe explicitly) agreed to be bound by the TOS.

I certainly don't want to pop your bubble of charity, but I don't want you getting yourself in hot water, either! Breach of contract and/or theft of services are no laughing matter.

Of course, if the data is available for free from other sources (SEC, perhaps?), then it'd be pretty hard (I think) for the pay service to enforct that part of the TOS...

Just my 2cents...

HTH,

C

If insiders are buying stock, shouldn´t you be buying?

If insiders are buying shares in their own companies, they usually know something that normal investors do not. They buy because they see a merger, acquisition or great earnings ahead or simply because they think their stock is undervalued.
Peter Lynch, the former manager of the Magellan Fund, has noted that insiders might sell their shares for any number of reasons, but they buy them for only one: they think the price will rise. That is why we really believe that following the insiders path can lead you to enormous profits in the stock market.

Recent Insider Buys;

DUSA $9.2 (1)
2004-06-22 COOPER HILL PARTNERS LLC(Beneficial Owner (10% or more)) 50,000 Purchase $434,999
FAME $3.5 (1)
2004-06-24 MAZIN, JOSEPH(President) 1,225 Purchase $4,312
FCPO $12.25 (1)
2004-06-21 GEORGE, RICHARD E.(Director) 500 Purchase $5,550
FRBK $11.95 (1)
2004-06-23 FRENKIEL, PAUL(Chief Financial Officer) 2,000 Purchase $23,980

Hi txtrapper,
I just came across your multiday RSI filter 0f 4/13/2004:
---Slow Stochastic(5) Fast %K is below 20 and RSI(2) is below 2 for the last 3 days and Average Volume (10) is above 100000 and close is between .13 and 5---
and got a whole bunch of reds. I was looking for an indication for entry.
Am I missing somthing?

This may be the best little (772KB) program to come along in years.

Slow Stochastic(5) Fast %K is below 20 and RSI(2) is below 2 for three days and Average Volume (10) is above 100000 and close is between .13 and 5

Try this xraywiz;

Fetcher[Show stocks where Stochastic Slow (5,3) Fast %K is below 20 and RSI(2) below 2 for three days and Average Volume (10) is above 100000]

This filter looks for stocks hitting bottom before they bounce.
Use Stochastics Fast (10,5)and another of your favorite indicators for confirmation on your chart to watch the pop begin. What you need to do is plug in the stocks that you like from the filter results, and watch for a "green hold" the next market day, that's the time for entry.

RSI(3)

Actually I have had greater success using RSI(3). That means that if the RSI(3)is going up and RSI(3) is below, say, 55, on the next day the stock will "go up in price" about 75% of the time. Can't say the same for RSI(2).
