Wallman

Tired of losing money man, so I kept your Muddly Filters and HG filters for a few days back, then check them daily, went thru 1,000's of stocks, formulas and indicators, but always went back and tried to find "common denominators" of stocks that increase in price, no matter what filter they come from. I don't think any indicators alone like RSI(2) is the answer, by using your Muddy Method filters selections I already have an advanctage, stocks down three days in a row with decent volume, then I take them and look at 1yr/d stochastics for crossovers or *ready to crossover" *them are real good, after that I check QStick(14), I have a filter at www.Prophet.net that has three indicators, RSI(2), Qstick(14) and StochRSI(8), I call it my "buy filter" after the stochastics confirmation.

For instance, I went thru the match results for Tuesday November 25, 2003 posted on the yahoo site.

TRIPLE MATCH; TIDE UDW...DOUBLE MATCH; AVRX,UBET,AVSR,COR; FAILURES; LQMT,CPTC,LJPC,RAE,CDKN,NGEN...MUDDY METHOD ONLY; SATC,SNAK,PMM,ATCO,PTNR,MEOH...MUDDY BOX; ASTT

I read all the hype about TIDE but it did not look good Friday using this method of selection which you can check out yourself. TIDE is just now getting ready, check stochastics it's crossing up right now and there is red declining volume both good things. Then flip over to QStick(14) it has it's nose buried in the sand (not a buy yet), then I look at StochRSI(8) it's flatlining (them two indicators would be my "buy signal" right now, but Stochastics must still be in alignment as well if either start to turn up Monday.

Today I went thru the SF Yahoo Picks from last Tuesday and found only one for Monday 12/1...RAE...look at it on a 1yr/d Stoch, (6,3) with RSI(2) and RSI(5) indicators another of my buy filters. Then look at them my second buy filter 1yr/d RSI(2), QStick(14)and StochRSI(8), RAE is my pick. The best thing about it is it's sitting right at 0 in QStick(14). And StochRSI(8) is at 1, and that I learned from eshiflett in his post on 7/24/2003 (Thanks eshiflett). It has everything going for it, it's a Muddy pick, and several indicators are in alighment.

RAE...(Rating 8)

Presently, I am holding 5 stocks and all ended green today!

I'm not trying to be a hot dog here, just expressing my opinion of what's been working for me.

good trading,

tx

TX......just a quick note here, you may already be aware of this but you can change the muddy filter from "touched" to "closed below" bollinger bands after you've run "touched" to give you a few more looks,in the past 3 days alone this would have given you a chance to do your stuff with nice gainers,WAVX NXTI AFOP UDW YPNT ZTEL(up a mere 108%), with the tools you are using and doing so well with them a few more possible quality looks may really pay off....good luck !

Thanks, I had already printed that information off your

webviper

Please be more specific in your posts, what is the name of your trend software, skimming what line? 10 day 50 day, etc, we are all here to learn, and the more information you provide the better we can understand what you are trying to say.

You may want to include the indicators you use every day, and some successes you may have had using this software or method. The drawback with TIDE is it's a BB bullitin board OTC stock, you may want to read up on that before you buy.
