I’m sure this has been done before, but I’m wondering what you all believe could make StockFetcher better for its users out there. Please feel free to post your ideas so that we have them all in one thread. Here are a few ideas that I’ve seen here on the forums already:
• Fix the back-testing when it comes to short trades
• Include the ability to search for stocks that contain a keyword
• Ability to count the number of times n has happened over a period of time; set{ndays, count(volume > 1000000, 50)}
• Be able to store back-tests in “folders” and be able to save more of them
• Be able to download the results of the Back-tests, not just the trades.
• Include intraday data for back-tests
• Have the ability to flag favorite thread topics in the Forums
• The ability to get graphs / charts on Sectors and Industries
• Enable the Count function to go back further than 100 days

Enable real-time.
I've never understood Y the filters have to be on 20-minute delay.

The big brokers do not want us to have real time action. That would cut them out. But, it would be nice, like you say, to have that ability to do that. One of those wishful thoughts I guess that gets no attention.

I have been so satisfied with SF that I have pretty much never asked questions here, but I too would LOVE to hear commentary on the real-time question from SF staff please. I would gladly pay double what I pay new for this feature alone, so if it is a cost intensive addition, perhaps you could tier the membership levels?
There are other real-time services that I have started evaluating so its not an issue of big brokers not wanting it to happen as was suggested on this thread.
But what I have found so far out there for real time scans doesnt have the great stock fetcher interface and programability, it is all done by menu driven windows, etc. (only been searching today though).
I am not complaining in that I do really well even with the 15 min delay or whatever it is we have now, better than nothing, but to be able to scan realtime would probably double my profit results.
Seriously, real time intraday scans is the holy grail for catching good trades as they happen!!!!!!!

i want volume given when u look at the pps
want days under the volume bar
WANT MORE OTC/OTCBB STOCKS EVERYTIME A GOOD STOCK COMES ALONG stockfetcher doesn't have it AND IF U REQUEST A STOCK TO BE ADDED
HELL WILL FREEZE OVER BEFORE THAT HAPPENS!!!!

When I took a POLL on how much StockFetcherians were willing cough up for a real-time data, the response was overwhelmingly unimpressive.

TRO,
As far as I understand, you just can't access the monthly chart but you can still use "monthly data" in the filter.
Heck, even the "yearly data" is supported.
