Hi Karen,

S&P futures hit the support trendline dating back to 09/25 this morning and popped right back up ever since. I feel the risk:reward would be lower going long rather than short.

Good luck

Hey Niko:
I'm watching Bernanke on TV.
He looked like a sad puppy.
For me personally? The fat lady has sung.
I'm done!
My party is over.
Adios.
Good luck to everyone!
:>)

Yeah, I hear ya. Geezus, even I (prematurely) thought we'd get a relief rally, however short it may be. But you can never be certain about this market. If ure not a sex-crazed bear in heat, it's prolly wise to stay on the sideline. ;^)

BTW, just what did you mean when you write My party is over? I hope you don't mean ure taking an early retirement. If you are, just consider that this forum wouldn't function without ya. Not that you'll need anything from me, but if you need my help for whatever reason (as far as trading is concerned) drop me a line at [nikoschopen]@gmail_dot_com.

I got to watch the market a little today, it was a thing of beauty. It touched 120ema and reversed with a fury...I was lucky enough to pick a few stocks on my watcklist (RIO,EXM,DRYS)...dry bulk shipping has taken a S#it kicking. I think the bleeding is done...for the moment....looking for a short covering rally...imho

Gawd, I swear I told myself that I'm getting outta this prediction biz for good and here I am making idiotic calls. This blood bath is far from being over. The S&P cash index still has another 60 points to nosedive from today's low, which should put us at or near 1400. Take a look for ureself.

So, Niko ... according to your chart, $SPX is going to 1425?
