>>Also SGI moved up +11% today. My system picked it up

Nice to see you posting again. It seemed for a while that you left this site.

Anyway, could you elaborate on your system? Looking at SGI, Monthly Sto was oversold, but hadn't crossed yet. Weekly Sto was oversold, but barely crossed. Daily Sto 3 days ago had crossed. So it would seem that you are looking for oversold Stochastics on the monthly and weekly and waiting for a cross on the daily.

But looking at ASTSF, the weekly sto is in distribution. The monthly sto just crossed so is that why you are ignoring the weekly sto?

Anyway, I know you use a combination of stochastics and trendlines. Do you use anything else?

Thanks. Yes SGI was a sweet trade about +20%. It produced a short term sell signal today at $1.57.
ZL moved up a bit today also.
EMRG is about flat, still holding that one but not much, yet.
Was posting some on RB this Summer but spent more time Salmon fishing and working outside. It was an awesomely sunny and warm Summer. Set records.
Global warming is very obvious here.

ASTSF went into accumulation on the Monthly chart in mid Sept. using slow stochastic 5/5 timing. Because of this it will tend to mitigate the distribution phase on the Weekly Chart, which you can see it has. Weekly Chart fast line has now crossed back above the slow line. Buying volume has come in and the stock is moving higher and I believe it will really fly before long.
I have gone to using AskResearch.com charts to check Weekly & Monthly progress as they update the long term charts daily. Bigcharts does not seem to.

I don't ignore the Weekly chart, but there is an art to looking at the waves in several time frames and understanding how they will influence eachother. Taking into account the volume and support/resistance and trendlines. Thats about all.
There is typically a convergence of events within these indicators that provides a buy and a sell signal.

Looks like BVSN is capitulating.
LPSN may be getting ready to move also. Res. TL broken before the close and buying volume coming in.
SCKT testing support at $1.65.
Semis are on the move and have a lot of ground to make up. I believe this is what will be a driving force behind the market as we enter a climax run.

Sold EMRG in premarket at $1.94 up about +41.6%. Wasn't a big position but I'll take it.

BVSN gave a buy signal this morning but missed it due to technical trouble. Waiting for the next entry point.

LPSN closed up +41% with an intraday high at 50%.

ARDM was hit with considerable selling pressire, possibly shaking the tree, possibly someone sold the news.
ARDM flirting with a break of the 25 DMA.
Oversold on Hourly chart so some bounce is likely. Would have normally exited the position at 5 min chart Supporting TL break at $1.28 but this would have triggered NASDAQ rule 2520 which would have prevented me from any further trading for several days.

Paid dearly to stay in the market. ARDM has broken the short term resistance trendline and is likely headed higher now.
Exited the position this morning at considerable loss.

Entered SCKT at $1.70. So far looks ok. A lot of resistance just overhead at the moving averages which are still in downtrends but buying volume picking up.

LPSN getting oversold on Hourly chart and may offer another entry soon.

IBIS is looking very good here. Appears to be coming up off a long term bottom.
Its a fairly low volume semi but has great volatility. I suspect it will plow right through resistance at $2.87 and it will likely need to consolidate while the moving aveages take some time to flatten out as they are in downtrends.
The only way around the consolidation is with an explosive move higher to use the 50 DMA as support.
Watching for a break of resistance and a test as support.

BVSN broke TL Resistance the following the Nov. 16th post at about $2.12 and gained about 12% at the high.
LPSN broke TL resistance at about $2.44 and doesn't appear as strong because of the late start it got on the Hourly Chart stochastic cycle. The cycle had already moved into the accumulation phase quite far before buyers were able to overcome sellers and break TL Res.
