Spent about 3 hours tonight working on the email but it did not come through in a test email.
Not sure why yet. Even the text didn't make it.

Zuber;

Please try again to email the charts, I had some message rules set up in Outlook Express to avoid some spam, and that may be what the problem was, please try again. thanks

Hi EWZuber,

You mentioned using a website to post charts....www.ttrader.com is useful for
this purpose (I've used it for over a year, and it's free...accepts the usual formats like .jpg, .gif, etc, but chart(file) size must be <100k)...This is a site specifically for market related charts and TA discussion...from the main page, scroll to the bottom and click on "my charts" to see the various posters and their charts...another site, used for posting pictures of any type, is www.photobucket.com, which appears to be adequate for purposes of posting charts for reference.

BTW, I read many of your posts, and find them informative and helpful..thanks for taking the time!

Regards,

DK

I made a new file with 12 charts in time frames from 5 minute to several year Monthly charts that cover 2 stocks. TSIC and DNYY.
I wasn't able to put it all on a paint program for compression.
Microsoft Word will not allow compression as far as I can tell and this file is some 54 MB. I only have hotmail and it will not support an attachment of that size.
Maybe there is another way. Any suggestions anyone?
I signed up for ttrader. We'll see how that goes.

This is the first day since I started using SF where the new 52 Week lows ( 37 ) has exceeded the new 52 Week highs ( 24 ).
For the most part Weekly chart -xover / +xover Market Monitor Screen has been weighted heavily towards -xover since about the beginning of April. This indicates that the majority of stocks have been in a longer term distribution phase since then ( except for a brief period ).
NASDAQ came up against minor resistance at a cycle low at 1973 a couple sessions ago and bounced down, indicating considerable weakness.
Looks like some kind of Bearish Wedge pattern is forming on the Daily .COMP chart.
I suspect this pattern will fail and the market will continue to drop because Weekly and Monthly chart stochastics are firmly in distribution. This daily chart accumulation phase will likely be severely muted.
.COMP will likely test the 50 Week MA at about 1890 bounce substantially then eventually drop at least to the 15 Month MA now at about 1800 ( & rising ).
But thats JMHO

I thought you were going to start a new thread this month?

Yea, I spose.
Watch for a bounce tomorrow in the NASDAQ. It has become extremely oversold very quickly with this gap down on Monday. It is testing 1900 as support and only has to close above that level by the end of the week to confirm it as support since this 1900 level is a weekly chart 50 WK. MA.
Also it looks like the volume was extremely light at only 1.3 Bill. shares.
This could produce a Morning Star type pattern if there is upside on Tues.
JMHO

Hi EWZuber,

In order to reduce the size of your charts, either for emailing or posting at ttrader.com, it sounds like you're gonna need a graphics compression program. There are many shareware versions available, and usually have enough functionality in the demo versions to do what you need, without having to purchase. I've had shareware version that still works fine after several years, although it's no longer available for free download.

This one might suit your needs, assuming you're using a Windows operating system. http://www.tucows.com/preview/194926.html I know some people are reluctant to download programs from the internet, so it's just a suggestion.
I just downloaded the executable file, scanned it (says it's clean!)but didn't run it....just tryin' to help!

Regards,

DK
