Oh My God. If you're long the market you don't want to see
a huge move up first for this ultimately means a cataclysmic
collapse!! Dear God the market is so effin skrewed. Run for your
lives. It doesn't matter if TZA dumps to $4.00, it will be over $7.00
again very shortly. What does that tell you about the direction
of the market long term? At least Dow 9,000 coming imo.

We are on the right side of the market, making money and thats all that matters. Stops will be moved up accordingly, when the market turns will be be stopped out....thats how trading works.

I'm out on my TNA order at 50.25, a gain of 6.8% over 3 days.

No reason to be too greedy. Can't be sure where the market will go this week.

Don't even tell me that TZA may fill the gap.
I would not believe it... Wouldn't $5.40 be more
exciting...

Well it's good time that you are on the right side of the market John.
I've seen many of your calls. You will tell us when you bail your longs
won't you? The bear is encroaching...

Thanks for the feedback, but remember I am trading this on paper only. I wish I had pulled the trigger with my cash account.

Looking at the trend indicators I use (VXX:SPY, 4 horsemen, and a few traditional ones like MA crossovers and support/resistance levels), the market is in an uptrend that has been briefly interrupted but seems to be back on track for a while. Like I said earlier, looks lke the S&P can go to 1150 before meeting resistance (H&S pattern).

I agree that the market will move higher but first will go lower.
If you truly want to see it higher i think you would want to take
out at least 2 if not all 3 gaps...

What i find fascinating about the market is you can make
a case for both a long & a short position at the same time.
Something you see in the charts that says both will occur.
The only thing that is hard to predict is
in which order. I used to talk about this
on the yahoo finance board only to be jeered.
But eventually everybody knew.
If you have the guts to hold long enough, both sides would
be right...
