Ok, boys and girls, you want proof positive that NOTHING beats RSI(2)...

HERE IT IS...

The best filter when I checked this morning was
Fetcher[price is below 0.05]

G5 score of 14.75%

I tweaked it to :

Fetcher[price is below .05 and 60 day slope of the close is above 0 and rsi(2) below 1]

THE G5 SCORE IS: 109.37%!!

641% IMPROVEMENT.

That's it. End of debate. RSI(2) wins. CASE CLOSED.

Joe G.'s HolySmoke Filter:

Fetcher[ADX(2) increasing for 2 days and Williams %R(2) below -99 and close between .01 and 3 and volume above 67000 ]

G5 score 8.46

Joe G.s HolySmoke Filter with RSI(2) added:

Fetcher[ADX(2) increasing for 2 days and Williams %R(2) below -99 and close between .01 and 3 and volume above 67000 and rsi(2) below 1]

G5 score 11.57

Impartial judge proves RSI(2) RULES.

CASE CLOSED.

jthehut...

More work?

No matter what filter you use, you still have to TRADE THE STOCKS. As in timing entry/exit to maximize profits.

Time is better spent studying money management and tweaking your trading rules/plans.

Rumpled...I have no idea what you look like, but I'm starting to get nightmares that you're like the drill sargeant from Full Metal Jacket screaming at me to do better!!! LOL, I was only kidding with "more work" but I'm glad my "mentor" keeps my head on the straight-and-narrow...

PS why are you spending your Saturday on the computer?!?!? Go spend some of your money, you can't take it "with you" when you're gone...better to spend time off-roading in that new truck of yours...or are you one of those guys that "babies" their vehicle...hmm?

Deprez
fantastic work
time to put up some restraints like "close is above .. " because you are going to be inundated with those meaningless and untradeble filters " price is below .05 and 60 day slope of the close is above 0 and rsi(2) below 1" that push real filters below your 25% cutoff

RumpledOne,

Geodepe had a good idea by establishing a filter rating site, but as usual you have managed to ruin it.

Seems to me that when this thread first started, your filter was number 1.

Then others started posting and your filter moved down in the rankings.

So I am sure this hurt your inflated ego and thus you had to come up with filters to insure you remained number 1.

So now you have resorted to penny stock filters to regain your number 1 status.

Fine...go for it...whatever makes you happy.

I, for one would never buy any of the stocks your great filters produce. Look at the filter results; low volune stocks with very low daily spreads and thus very risky investments.

So keep posting your so-called great filters and I hope you get some sort of satisfaction doing this. The experienced traders who have been trading for a while know what you are doing and thus will simply ignore this attempt at being number 1.

I am concerned that there may be newbies here who do not understand your real reasons for posting these riduculous filters. You should be well aware of the risks involved in trading OTC stocks, so why would you post a filter that may cause newbies to lose money?

It takes experience to trade these risky stocks.

I am very disappointed with your posts and hope others will read this post and think!!!! before buying a stock based on your Penny Stock Filters.

By the way...I am not a fan of Joe G. either...I find it very amusing that you both continually argue over meaningless topics.

As and after thought....you can reply anyway you can...but I will simply ignore any replies...they are meaningless to me.

I wish you well with your filters..and I hope you are satisfied with your new rankings....but I know better!!!!
