it is obvious from your questions that you are beginning your journey in options trading. You are where many of us have been. But a forum like this will not help you as options are much too intricate to be explained on a case by case basis. I don't mean my comments to be hurtful, but you are like a person desiring to be a brain surgeon without paying the price. You have to invest time to study the intricacies of options, i.e. volatility, the greeks, time decay, etc. My recomendation is to
1. Google Dan Sheridan and listen to as much of his stuff as possible.
2. You say you use Interactive Brokers. They have many educational videos available from top notch traders.
There is enough information out there to help you become successful. But you have to access it and learn it. So it's up to you. After you study a while, go back and look at your questions and you'll see what I mean
