What I would like to see is "StockFetcher" issue two Screens per day, the first one being cut off at 2:30 pm. This would give us a chance to buy before the close, because quiet often the trend has been set but we miss the trend because the market has closed prior to us finding out about it and by next day the price has changed before the open and we miss out.. By being able to check our screens before the close would be a great help, any one else out there agree..I would gladly pay StockFetcher extra for that feature,
Cheers,
Mac

this is one of the better suggestions to come along for a while; one of the updates could be am like 11.15 and the other pm 2.30 sounds good.

2 thumbs up

What a great idea. I find myself coming in here during the day to check up on stocks and have to remind myself that the data is from the previous day.

yup, this is an awesome idea, anyone following the 3 down day bottom bb method saw it happen today with PCTY,a perfect play but gapped up at the open .45 then when the mutual funds(i'm sure)stepped in about half hour later it zoomed up about 13%more,with DUMCRIEFS idea ,you would have seen PCTY yesterday as the trend was well set by 2:30,giving you a chance to buy half your position before the close and adding the other half if you see green at the open, using this approach to catch almost all of that beautiful 15% move, without it the stock in reality just ran away from us,great idea DUMCRIEF,following the bb method as long as i have i see it happen all the time, in fact it also happened to SLTC,half of it's 8% gap up would have been caught

It looks like my idea of a second daily screen has hit a nerve out there. I hope Tom reads this and responds.

I too agree with you. I would love for these filters to run during the day so that I may buy before close. That would be great so I may get a better price than the following day when the stock may open with a gap up.

Also how about having an email alert at 2:30pm with the updated list of stocks for our personal filters. It doesn't have to be realtime just 20 minute delayed report would do just fine.
