NOT at all!
If price is rising but volume is dropping then that indicates buyers aren't interested in buying this high
=======================
TRO-->I think I get it now...could this be linked to the "supply & demand" principle?--prices falling/volume rising(spiking)=possible bullish set-up; prices rising/volume decreasing=NO INTEREST/DEMAND=possible bearish set-up?

The above link is the most recent incarnation.
It is originally based on this work " The Undeclared Secrets That Drive the Stock Market”, written by Tom Williams – © 1993"
revised in 2000 ( A gray book with a Red Stop Sign) which many find much more clear... but very difficult to find these days.

CHET: Re "/* CHETRON INTERPETS BILL WILLIAMS LEVEL ONE MFI COMBOS */ "

Respectfully, how are you suggesting that this filter might be used?

Thank you
Steve

THE LINK ABOVE THE FILTER SUGGESTS BUYING THE RED CANDLE AFTER A WIDE SPREAD TRANSPARENT CANDLE AND BILL WILLIAMS GREEN DAYS TEND TO BE WIDE SPREAD TRANSPARENT CANDLES. WITH VOLUME. THIS FILTER SHOULD ALLOW YOU TO DEVELOP A WATCHLIST FOR THIS SET-UP.

After reading the article posted by TRO and Secrets that Drive the Stock Market, I have become more aware of volume. http://emini-watch.com/free-stuff has an interesting video on volume and price range.
