Maybe we are "out of the woods".

You gotta trade the current market man. Even if you find something that works now, it will most likely (read: definitely) not work a year later. Being a good trader is one who can continually adapt to the constantly changing environment.

As stated the trend is your friend. When bull, trade bull, when bear trade bear or stay out, when the market is reversing... hit it big!!! haha....

Yes, we would all love a magic button that tells us what the markets are going to do tomarrow... but alas, staying on top of the current game is a much better strategy...

i disagree. it's not possible to follow a trend because trends change faster then people do.

mesayah,

Please define "trend".
Not text book... the definition you use.

Thanks.

I was not the one that suggested i follow some sort of trend. But in my mind any theoretical or one that follows any indicator, is not so ez. Tell me the perfect entrance and exit based on THE TREND, since this will magically tell me when to act.

I'm not so sure about a "magic" button. However, you can get and "EASY" button at Staples. Try putting that on the side of your PC and hitting it after every trade.

LOL!

Honestly, there have been presented here a number of good trading systems (VIX-Based, MTC, Crock Pot) that will work and generate returns if followed properly and consistently.

To master Kung Fu, you must first master yourself. Look at your trading behaviors first - are you actually trading the way you think you should be, or are you jumping in "ahead of the curve" only to get burned when you guessed wrong? Are you patient and analytical, or are your trades driven by emotion?

If you are looking for a gun that will always hit its target, make sure you know how to shoot it first.

I HAVE one of those EZ buttons from Staples.
When you press it, it does make you "feel" better.
