I would like to filter out NYSE stocks. I want to see Nasdaq stocks, major indices and ETF's/Holders. Using "show stocks where the market is not NYSE" didn't seem to work. Any ideas?

One possibility: Create a watchlist(NYSE), i.e. a watch list of NYSE stocks -- there can't be more than 3,000 of them -- they can be imported from a text file, any text file -- and then you could filter out NYSE stocks by filtering out your watchlist(NYSE). Experiment with your filter phrase before you start the importation process, does it work? One possible example is... "and exclude watchlist(NYSE)". If 3,000 is too large for a watch list, you could create a bunch of smaller 300-stock watch lists, instead of one large one.

Just an idea...
I hope this helps.

An easy way to make a watchlist of all the stocks in an index is to go to http://www.zacks.com/research/screening/custom/index.php and select the exchange of your choice and run the screen. This pulls up a list of all the stocks in an index - over 3600 for NASDAQ - which can be copy and pasted into a notebook file, and then pulled up directly into SF via the upload feature.

Hint: you can do this with ANY of the variables allowed by the zacks screener - for free - so you can run your SF TA filter screens against those stocks meeting your fundamental preference. Zacks fundie screener is super easy to use, super fast, and free...
