waldo1323 14 posts msg #47970 - Ignore waldo1323	11/14/2006 6:36:44 PM I'm trying to create a breakout scan that will show results of stocks in NYSE or NAZ that are just below the breakout area on a chart, not just stocks that are close to the 52 week high but close to a breakout at any area in a chart. Also want to stay within the $1-$10 range and vol above 300K. If you look at ESLR today 11/14 the breakout on the chart was around $8.50 so im looking to create a scan that would show ESLR when it was in the 8.40 area before it actually broke out. thanks for your help

Fetcher[close decreased 1 day and close is above median bollinger band(12) and draw median bollinger band(12) and close is between 7 and 10 and volume is above 1000000 and date offset 11/16/2006] , Fetcher[close is above median bollinger band(12) and draw median bollinger band(12) and close is above close 1 day ago and volume is above 1000000 and close is between 7 and 10 and date offset 11/17/2006] , Fetcher[close is above median bollinger band(12) and draw median bollinger band(12) and close is between 7 and 10 and close is above close 1 day ago and volume is above 1000000 and date offset 11/20/2006] , Fetcher[close is above median bollinger band(12) and draw median bollinger band(12) and close is above close 1 day ago and volume is above 1000000 and close is between 7 and 10 and date offset 11/21/2006] .See when red candles on BRCD turn green and Median Bollinger Band(12) wraps around under them,I like to call that "in the cradle".
