How do we find out when the EMA average makes the change from going down to turning up.......the choice for example, EMA(50) increasing for X days does not do it, it could have been increasing the previous 10 days before that. I am trying to get it the day after it turns up from a prolonged down turn...thanks

Will "slope of" do the trick? Maybe somthin' like:

Fetcher[count(1 day slope of EMA(50) 1 day ago is less than 0,40) equals 40 and 1 day slope of EMA(50) is greater than 0]

or maybe

Fetcher[40 day slope of EMA(50) 1 day ago is less than 0 and 1 day slope of EMA(50) is greater than 0]

I didn't really test these much. Just a thought...

HTH,

C
