Hello all: I have had some excellent results with a "close higher than last 4 days, but lower than 5 days ago" system by "eye-balling" a whole bunch of charts for that pattern. I would love to automate it with Stockfetcher. (It is a "go long" system for intermediate length trades)

I am a rookie and have very limited experience with Stockfetcher codes but I am working on the simple ones. I've been unable to put on paper what I'm trying to get Stockfetcher to do in regard to the system above. Any help would be appreciated.

You guys did a great job a year ago with my request for a "2% down followed by 4% up" system. I am eternally grateful for that!

Fetcher[
set{diff, count(close above close 1 day ago, 1)}
set{diff4,count(diff equals 1,4)}
diff4 equals 4
close below close 5 days ago
]

OR

Fetcher[
set{diff,close minus close 1 day ago}
set{up,count(sign(diff) equals 1,4)}
up equals 4
close below close 5 days ago
]

A thousand thank-yous, nikoschopen!!

You may already know about the following site but I have found it very interesting since I read about it in Barron's.....www.thekirkreport.com....It is a trader's blog and has helped me very much with leads to links I would have never found.

As the rumpled one states, "May all your fills be complete....." and many thanks again.
