This will pick up all stocks where the open is at least 5% below the close of yesterday:

Fetcher[show stocks where open is more than 5% below close 1 day ago and average volume(50) above 1000000 and price above 1]

I am reading between the lines of michlala's question, and I think there may be some confusion. Stockfetcher only uses end of day data, so if you wanted to trade today, and use stocks where today's open is at least 5% below yesterday's close, you can't do it here. You would have to wait until 5:00 p.m. est today to get today's gap-downs, and trade them tomorrow morning.

thanks for the advice.
traderblues was right about my intention. however- can i backtest such a filter? i mean : when today's open is 5% below yesterday's close - i will buy at close TODAY.

Sure you can backtest it. . .what you can't do is use it to select prospects for today's trading.
