13,891 ...
I'm disappointed.
I was hoping it would go lower.

I don't short stocks. PERIOD.
I buy short ETFs if I think the market is going down. (which I've listed elsewhere on this forum)
CROX is NOT a stock I'm interested in shorting.
You might have me mixed up w/ Niko.

And for the sake of others who are reading this thread ...
If you don't feel comfortable shorting stocks, or don't know what to short ...
You might consider these inverse ETFs ...
SDS
MZZ
QID
DXD
DOG
Take a look at the charts. SDS and MZZ had a stellar performance this week.

I don't know what the market will do today, but IF we go down again today ...
SDS and MZZ will give you some nice gains.

CROX looks seductively fatal. I'll look for a good short entry within the next few days. No more "boo-ya" for this stock! ;)

Does that mean you agree with my opinion that this is a dead-cat-beyond-its-useful-nine-lives bounce?

But, on second thought, I believe it's premature to conclude that the wild gyration is over. We still need to account for the second leg (that is, a second windfall for me), which means there might be a pop from here going forward to form the right shoulder. As I stated earlier, we just cleared the head portion of the head-and-shoulders formation. So, take it from this cantankerous trader. It ain't over yet; this is just the beginning.

On a minor note, Karen, I thought you went through the 2000-02 bear market. Now, c'mon, you should be able to read this market like the back of ure hand. ;)

honestly?
the bi-polar action today IS a bad sign.
or er ... should I say a bear sign.
LOL!
I must admit, ... I WAS hoping to see the DOW @ 15,000 by Xmas.
