i like to backtest by creating filters that have me entering positions 3 days ago and then seeing the next 3 days OHLC.
I cannot figure out how to scan for stocks that were in a 45 day channel 3 days ago. Whenever I add "show stocks trading in a 45 day channel 3 days ago", the channel component is lost.
Can anyone advise as to how to do this?
thx
Mike

Thank you but this method does not allow me to review OHLC after offset 3. That is, I cannot download the open price 2 days ago, for example. I can see the price data after offset 3 in the chart, but I cannot download for backtesting purposes.
Any other suggestions?
Thx again for the quick followup
Mike
