I have not been able to figure out how to phrase the plotting of a X bar moving average of the OPEN.

Please help.

TIA,

Dan

Simple:

use the following -

Fetcher[

set{openma, cma(open, 10)}

draw openma on plot price
draw ma(10)

symlist(spy)

]

use the custom moving average (CMA) command. I also drew the ma(10) for comparison. Obviously you can set the cma to as many bars as you would like.
