Does any know a good daytrading software tool which is very cheap or free ? Can you get something good enought for free with "intraday" results...with alerts and so on...

You're gonna have to clarify "daytrading" software.

QT with IB feed will do just about everything.

The old standby Scottrade Elite will do the trick as well.

You can download the IB (interactove Brokers) TWS platform and run the demo for free.

Quotetracker is free. You can use your borker's feed with QT. QT will do just about evrything (that I would ever need anyway).

But then again, I don't use indicators while trading.
