Help please.

I would like to be able to download some historical information on a particular stock symbol or industry such as Dow jones Industrial Average and do not know how to do it in StockFetcher ... or ... whether it is available anywhere.

For example, I would like to be able to download into a spreadsheet the Open, High, Low, Close and daily volume for every day for a year for a specific stock so that I might be able to analyze it. Can anyone offer me a suggestion as to how or where I might be able to do this?

I was able to figure a way to output data to a spreadsheet using TradeStation.

Thanks.

sorry, steve, i just lost track.

if you go to yahoo's home page and type in "IBM" search.
you will see one of the returns is "IBM NYSE IBM"
click on the 2nd IBM
when the quotes page comes up, you will see on the left side a column of links titled "more on IBM"
click "historical prices"
when the historical price page comes up
scroll to bottom of page and click "download to spreadsheet"

CHETRON: Thanks again. That works fine and it has the advantage of me not using TradeStation for this during the day when I want to not use it for anything but automated trading during the day.
