Hi there, brand new member here. Love this site, love the program and in an effort to switch from an expensive scanner I need to know if it is possible to do the following and if so then how ? If this has been previously discussed then please kindly post the link and I shall check for myself. (I did try searching however I am not sure what term to exactly look for.)

Ok so what I am trying to do is assign a filter and have it be true for a series of days. Example:

I need stocks that have traded over a million shares EVERYDAY for the past 20 days ... how can i do this ?
Or stocks that have had a high greater than 100 EVERYDAY for the past 20 days ?

I don't want -
volume (20) greater than 1M
high (20) greater than 100

(I could be mistaken but don't the above example show me the results for the periods combined)

All help is appreciated.

Thank you,
Tanveer

Fetcher[

COUNT(VOLUME ABOVE 1000000,20) ABOVE 19

]

OR

Fetcher[

COUNT(HIGH ABOVE 100,20) ABOVE 19

]

EACH OF THESE STATEMENTS WILL REQUIRE THAT EVERY DAY FOR THE PAST 20 DAYS, THE VOLUME OR HIGH MEETS YOUR SPECIFIED CRITERIA.

IT REQUIRES THAT THE TOTAL NUMBER OF DAYS OUT OF THE LAST 20 DAYS WHERE THE DESIRED CRITERIA HAS OCCURRED IS GREATER THAN 19 (BASICALLY, IT FORCES IT TO BE EVERY DAY DURING THE 20 DAYS, OR THE STOCK IS NOT INCLUDED IN THE FILTER RESULTS).

Sorry about the caps lock!

the "count" function returns the number of times out of the last X days where your criteria has been met.
