So with the Run Forest method one would draw a horizontal line through the last candle at the middle and buy above it next candle for longs on a 30 minute chart. Do you preset your order limit buy soon as last candle is done? I imagine one must be quick when dealing in the neighborhood of .05 give or take for profits.

I don't wait for candle closes...

Also, for RFR stocks, I wrote the RFR TRAVEL GUIDE that tells you the targets for entry and exit.

I think the only way to place a trade before the candle closes is if there is huge volume moving the price your way.
If volume is small odds are high for an intracandle reversal or a retest of support/resistance before it moves any further.

Funny thing is SPF has dropped off the RUN FOREST, RUN filter. But it still yields nice profits.

What you can make by trading ONE stock.

Note this is buying at the close and selling the next day. This filter was posted a long time ago. But SOME PEOPLE would rather complain than learn how to make money.

If you are NOT greedy, you could "print" a $50 or $100 bill just about everyday trading 1,000 shares. That's not bad for "part time" traders who have to go to work everyday. You do your analysis when the market is closed and place the trades at end of day and/or beginning of day. Simple

What exactly am I looking for in this scan that gives me a hint as to how to enter an EOD trade?

RDN is now the stock to trade over and over and over again.

Actually, it has been that way for about a month now.

guys-

going by what I have read about trading RDN, check out this play:

Expires Symbol Last Chg Bid Ask Vol Open Int
Sep 08 RDNIA.X 0.25 0.10 0.25 0.35 185 3,266
Oct 08 RDNJA.X 0.80 0.25 0.60 0.75 147 1,423
...essiantly, if RDN reaches $5.00 before the 3rd of SEP/OCT, $$$$$

dforant1,

I built that filter because I had to trade overnight due to not having (at the time) the requisite $25,000+ needed to daytrade (i.e., pattern day trading rule). I needed the overnight odds to be in my favor that's why I constructed this filter.

You simply enter a bullish position at the Close of the trading day when the filter is giving you a stock that is consistently returning a bullish profit, like SPF. When it pops up during the following trading day you simply take your profit.
