Best suited for geeks, since it uses Python to code and backtest systems. However, it also has access to 10 years of 1 minute data for all US equities, including those no longer traded (pretty hard to find). Maybe worth learning to script in Python ....

I happen to be learning how to program with python with portablepython via the book (Invent Your Own...)
