Does this help?
Fetcher[Show stocks where MACD histogram(8,17) has been decreasing over the last 1 week
and MACD histogram(8,17) is above 0
and MACD histogram(8,17) is less than .1
and Average Volume(90) is above 100000
and close is between 1 and 250
]

James,

Thank you for your reply. My question was really trying to get at the root of why the syntax was incorrect. Everything I have read in the user manual and yepher's command guide indicates that this should be a valid phrase...

RGRAFF4098,

Sorry, I don't have exact answers why it does not work but I have observed a similar behavior when using "0" value and the "approaching" clause. Here is how I have solved the problem in the past:

Fetcher[
set{myZero, 0}
MACD histogram(12,26) is approaching myZero from above
]

Or
if you do not like the "set" syntax. you could also try:

Fetcher[
MACD histogram(12,26) is approaching 0.01 from above
]

"0" seems to be handled special by SF and sometimes causes strange things to happen !?!

Neither of these is working...I'm getting results, but histogram is decreasing in only about 50% of the resulting list...
