When looking at the "advanced" tab for backtesting there is an option where you specify a "selection critiria". Here it says "StockFetcher back-testing will only select the first 50 stocks each day, this option allows you to control the order of selection."

Does this mean that lets say its volume descending that only the top 50 highest volume stocks will have the filter applied to it? Or does it instead mean, lets say that my filter has 100 stocks that match it on any given day, it will then sort those 100 stocks returned by volume?

thanks
