I have a saved filter, called filter1. Is it possible to create a new filter that employs filter1 and a few other measures?

for example, within my second filter i could have a 'function call' that runs filter1, and then have a few more lines that adds onto it.

I know I could copy and paste the text from filter1 into my new filter, but that doesn't help much.

any help appreciated. thanks!
