TRO -

How about giving us a chart and a list of your trades for a particular day?

Niko:

Here's how one could have traded AAPL on that day:

min 1 - quick long open + .10 in/out

min 2 - quick short open - .10 in/out

min 3 - long entry open + .10

min 4 - hold

min 5 - exit long, go short at open - .10

min 6 - cover short

min 7 - long entry open + .10

min 8 - exit long

min 9 - wait

min 10 - long entry open + .10

min 11 - exit long

min 12 - wait

min 13 - wait

min 14 - wait

min 15 - long entry open + .10

min 16 - hold

min 17 - hold

min 18 - exit long

min 25 - long entry open + .10

Last trade at min 25

You would have had the opportunity to scalp AAPL 7 times in less than 30 minutes.

I know this raises the question WHEN/WHERE do you exit. I usually exit when the price stalls. When you scalp with this method, it's like playing a video game, pure reaction no thought.

Even though AAPL gapped up and ran away, trading the Buy Zone would have kept you profitable.

By the way, Niko, after the first 15 minutes, I switch over to a 5 minute candle chart. Things usually settle down a bit by then.

This is NOT a debate. There is NOTHING to debate.

If you cannot imagine any alternative explanations then it is easy to be convinced that the only one you have is absolutely right.

"Words are mirrors when you see yourself" - TRO

Sounds pretty damn contradictory if you ask me

=======================================

Where is the contradiction?

Trading is NOT about right/wrong. Trading is about profitable/unprofitable.

There is more than one way to trade profitably but all you need is one.

Where do you see yourself, Niko?

This is almost comical.

TRO's strict adherence to the classical pattern of deflection and avoidance when confronted wreaks of deception.

Listening to the interview with TRO, all kinds of little red flags popped up in my head. I got a "Catch Me If You Can" vibe from it.

Now, after the last few days, I KNOW I smell BS.

Don't stop now.

By all means, please continue.

If you like, I can submit your name and perhaps you can do an interview so all may learn from you.

Where do you see yourself, Niko?

This is how I would have played AAPL based on simple non-squiggly lines.

while it takes two to tango, I'm afraid this brouhaha will turn out more like a wrestle mania. But it goes without saying that TRO does indeed espouse a modern day blueprint for larger-than-life condescension.

niko:

Thanks for sharing your chart.

I am curious, are you're lines hand drawn or automatically plotted by your charting program?

Be nice, niko!!
