Jr, 13th and others,
Words don't convey my gratefulness, thank you so much for your help, encouragement and sharing your knowledge. It's this kindness that has drawn me to SF and kept me going against all odds. Two and and a half years without financial success and still totally committed, more so than ever before!

I do know about risk management and will be glad to share if anyone needs it. This is the one thing that every good book agrees on. This has kept me in the game, while hoping one day to find a strategy that feels just right. I'm excited by this method, the goal now is to become expert and stick with it.

I do know that I'm well past the indicator stage and that price and volume are all that count. I wonder sometimes if indicators were invented so that senior traders could take money off newbies (smile). The use for indicators does seem great for scans, but use setups, price and volume for trading, with good risk management.

I found this article interesting and wonder if you have used these 10/60 enhancements?

Fetcher[close greater than open and the MACD(12,26,9) is increasing and the Momentum(12) is increasing and the RSI(14) is increasing and the price is between .01 and 1

thanks for posting. this is an interesting filter. Do you watch for the 10/60 cross for the entry?

Thanks again

Man, I feel really weird about this, this isnt even my method.

This is what I am doing!

This is just a scan to give you some stocks that may be in a up trend, (the trend is your friend), look at the daily chart and look for white candles with volume, then add them to your list, then use a intraday chart during trading hours and look for the cross on volume,

Fetcher[close greater than open and the price is between .01 and 1

Fetcher[close less than open and the price is between .01 and 1

Fetcher[show stocks where the EMA(20) is above the EMA(50) and the EMA(50) is above the EMA(200) and the close is greater than the open and the price is between .01 and 1

Add any price criteria you like!

oh yeah, do the last filter with (close less than open also) many filter will give you same symbols, then scan them with your eye, this is what I am doing!
