I am needing help understanding what the watch lists do...

Let's say I create a filter that lists the stocks that reach into overbought areas. Can I take it another step and see which of those hit my buy/sell triggers? If so, how do I do this?

I read about the "apply to Watch List(XXX)" line but I am not sure how its supposed to work. I am not getting any results so I am sure I am putting the command in the wrong spot.
Thanks!

If someone could explain how watch lists and filters work together, I would greatly appreciate it. Thanks!
