ok...

figured out how to draw the SPX on my results chart for quick visual comparison (i don't like the "compare to" plot at the bottom) with:

set{SPX, ind(^SPX,close)}
and draw SPX on plot close

simple enough.

what i need help with is adjusting the SPX data so it will be proportional to the underlying (so it will basically overlay) instead of having two plots on a chart with a huge range.

i knew i should have paid more attention in back in math class! any ideas will be greatly appreciated.
