I am using the words "and add column dividend yield > 8". My dividend yield column is all above 8, however when I go to YAHOO to check the stocks, the dividend yields are often much lower, sometimes below 5%. Is my wording incorrect or is there something in the manner you calculate dividend yields?

try...

add column annual dividend yield > 8%

Example
COP had a special dividend (May 1, 2012 - 17.025)
Yahoo doesn't include... StockFetcher does

Four - thanks for the reply. Previously I had added annual, then took it out thinking that may be the reason, but still got the differences. You probably hit it with Yahoo computing yields differently. I am getting significant differences in over 50% of my scans and that is frustrating.
